OVERPRICED drinks with BELOW STANDARD quality and dishonest service!!! This is again one of those bars where they "don't have" menu for cocktails - only for the shots and non-alcoholic beverages. You just "tell them" what you want and they will mix it. The trick is you can't know the price until they make you pay the bill. And then in the end what happens is they make up the prices - suddenly they tell you that instead of a standard shot of alcohol in the mixed drink they use 1.5 times the amount, hence 1.5 times the price of the shot. Then they add up additional 150 crowns as a mixer surcharge. In the end you end up paying 390-400 crowns for a Whiskey sour or an Old Fashioned! This is insanely overpriced even for Prague, especially considering the quality of the drinks and level of service is far from adequate. Just compare with The Hemingway Bar (which was awarded many awards for best bar in CZ) where similar drinks cost max 290-300. Also, be prepared to be surrounded by annoying IQOS/e-cig smoking people, because apparently it seems to be okay.
JUST DON'T BOTHER WITH THIS PLACE. GO ELSWHERE. For example Cafe Bar Pilotu up the street...
Read moreSo the place has potential but I am not sure what it's trying to do from the decor - no real style. It did not feel like a nice cocktail bar especially because the waiter was rude and overwhelmed with work. We waited a long time to get drinks. Cocktail ingredients are not labeled well, they use a lot of egg white. After telling the waiter that I am vegan he said that in CZ they don't know what is vegan and I should just drink vodka with something. Poor service, poor knowledge of drinks, not a real bartender, not a real cocktail bar. Go and spend your...
Read moreWe enjoyed the atmosphere of this bar a lot. Also, we found some free spots on Saturday evening when all the bars aound were crowded. The waiter was very friendly, however, the whole visit was a bit ruined when he asked my foreign friend for a tip with words "you should leave a tip" - we found it quite rude, since it is not an obligation in Czech republic to leave a tip. Also, all others as locals automatically left him a tip, so perhaps it was not necessary for him to ask for a tip from...
