First and foremost, the staff were incredibly polite. The atmosphere may not be spectacular, and it’s not a fine dining establishment, but the courteous employees and their kind demeanor definitely elevate the overall experience. A warm and welcoming attitude from the staff can make a significant difference, and that was certainly the case here.

We started with the ebi tempura. It came with five pieces. The taste was certainly not bad, but we’ve had better ebi tempura in Prague. Additionally, we felt the outer layer was a bit too thick and overly coated in egg, giving it more of an egg flavor than desired. While it was still tasty for me, it wasn’t made in the traditional manner, and I think most people wouldn’t prefer this kind of outer coating. The batter should be light and crispy, but here it was a bit dense. Despite this, it still had a decent flavor that some might enjoy.

Next, we had the sashimi set along with Volcano inside out sushi and Maguro tempura fusion sushi. The sashimi set included five types, with four pieces of each: 4 salmon, 4 tuna, 4 crab, 4 hokigai, and 4 hotategai (Japanese Jumbo Scallops). The salmon was quite good, the tuna was fresh but rather flavorless—not bad but rather ordinary. The crab was nothing special and didn’t leave much of an impression. Hokigai isn’t generally a very flavorful sashimi, but what we were served was quite fresh, which made it more enjoyable. The hotategai was excellent; in my opinion, it paired best with soy sauce and had a delightful texture and flavor that stood out among the other sashimi options.

The Volcano inside out didn’t make us go "wow," but it was well-executed and quite tasty. Whatever sauce they drizzled on top complemented the sushi very well, enhancing the overall flavor. I generally don’t favor tempura fusion style sushi, so I’ll refrain from giving my opinion on that; however, my wife loved it. She appreciated the unique combination of textures and flavors, especially the crispy exterior paired with the soft, flavorful interior.

Price-wise, if we’re only considering the sushi and sashimi, I wouldn’t say it’s extremely expensive, but it’s not cheap either. Considering the restaurant's design and location, I expected it to be a bit more affordable. The décor is simple and the location is convenient, but these factors didn’t justify the price in my opinion. However, I did see many budget-friendly and filling options on the menu, so I don’t want to criticize the prices too harshly. There are plenty of choices for those looking for a more economical meal, which is a plus.

Overall, if you find yourself nearby, I recommend trying the salmon sashimi and Volcano inside out sushi. They are among the better offerings at Haru Sushi and provide a good taste of what the restaurant has to offer. Would you miss out on something if you don’t go? Probably not. While the food is decent, it doesn’t stand out enough to make it a must-visit. Would I recommend this place to friends? Yes, especially if they’re looking for a light dinner on a summer evening in the back garden. The outdoor seating area is quite charming and provides a pleasant dining experience.

In conclusion, this place offers a decent variety of sushi and sashimi with some hits and misses. The polite staff and reasonable prices for certain items make it worth a visit, especially if you're in the area. It may not be the best sushi in Prague, but it’s a solid option for a...

Very interesting place. I wasn't initially impressed by how it looks inside - it looks more or less like a regular modern czech restaurant, if they wouldn't be serving sushi and had their title above the door, i wouldn't necessarily say it is japoneze cuisine. HOWEVER, when i tasted their food.. Wow. Not only the food is really delicious but quite affordable. Not just compared to the area's price but to similar dishes prices from other areas in Prague & city center as well. I like that, great quality and affordable prices!! Their tuna poke bowl dish is very tasty. So is their miso soup and fresh rolls! Yammy. By the end, as i was leaving i noticed their terrace. So beautiful outside. Much nicer than inside. I recommend...

Vynikající obsluha, výborné jídlo a dokonalé servírování tvoří neodolatelnou kombinaci. Doporučuji ji všem milovníkům sushi a japonské kuchyně. Určitě se sem rád vrátím a opět si vychutnám tuto nezapomenutelnou...

This was an extremely good experience, starting by an outstanding service, and then one of the best sushi experiences I have had. Everything is cooked fresh right in front of you, and not only the taste is amazing and fresh but the prices are also very competitive. The menu has some really good options to try a bit of everything. Easily one of the best sushi I have tried in the whole city
