Lasagna Mia — Restaurant in Prague

Let's be clear here. 1. I really really appreciate the kindness of the waiter and waitress there. 2. Also the design of the diving room is nice, cozy and kids friendly.

As i mention to the waitress (not an easy job compared to writing here), the food had an acceptable taste, but it was made completely wrong. If you are italian I suggest not to have a meal there. For foreigners who are not used to italian foods it may be acceptable, but it is anything but italian.

To be clear I had carbonara. The dish had the following errors: WORST OF ALL: Pasta was way overcooked. The texture was completely gone and I wonder what type of pasta was it since it was very pale and tasteless. Pasta has to be cook ed al dente. No reheated, no recooked, no kept in boiling water. Also overcooking pasta makes it terribly difficult to digest whixh is the maibreason why people do battles against gluten. Water to cook the pasta was not salted! You need appr. 8g salt /liter. They usually put cream inside carbonara. No cream, full stop. They put rucola on top. No rucola. Mostly because due to its particular flavour not everyone loves it. The pancetta was not pancetta and if it was, it was sliced in the wrong shape. Minor point thought. Also you should use guanciale, not pancetta. If you put ingredients on the menu all the ingredients have to be written down. Garlic was not written and should not be anywhere near carbonara. So it wasnt the unidentify herb ibside the pasta You don't put salt into pepper grinder. People could put by mistake extra salt!

I would also speculate if the name reminds another legit italian...

Although this looks like quite a lovely place to have a meal, looks can be deceiving. The staff was not rude per day, but completely uninterested and not helpful, when asked questions (in fact they didn’t answer any). My sister did enjoy her vegetable lasagne, but the zucchini pasta....was not zucchini pasta. It was normal spaghetti with vegetables (zucchini) on top. I was very disappointed as I believed I didn’t get what I ordered. The meal was also cold and the pasta was too hard. Bathrooms were a mess. I’m sorry to say that I will not be visiting again. There are much better...

Food was outstanding the waiter took someone's pizza back off them without an explanation and then took 15 minutes for it to reappear when the majority were finished. Also the same waiter then took all the finishes plates away before everyone was finished and 1 member was still using his plate (sharing with other half)

Food was lovely though. 5 star for taste 2 star...
