The place was a truly joyful gastronomic experience for us.

We were hanging out in a medieval underground chamber located within a true city dungeon.

The place specialized in high quality seafood. Virtually everything we took tasted great.

Maybe with the exception of a shot of vodka that I ordered to remedy the flu that I got outside. Though vodka's horrible taste is there by design and I would even argue that if vodka tastes good for you it means that either you were cheated and it's not a real vodka or you are a functional alcoholic. I know, my way of dealing with flu is highly questionable. But hey. This is the way.

The waiter was super perceptive and highly professional. I unfortunately don't remember his name, but the fact that he vaguely resembled Billy Bob Thornton from "Bad Santa" has added a pinch of Christmas spirit to our dinner.

DON'T ORDER FISH before you read the menu. After you been seated, the waiter will show you a big plate full of fishes, even you asked for menu, he will still ignore you and insist you to order some so called "delicious fish". I don't know if those fishes are really delicious, because i insist to check the menu and noticed that those "wild fish" was sold by gram, one fish maybe cost you 2000 kr. I have no idea about the price, I just felt that the waiters behaviour is very suspicious, because i asked menu for several times, and he just ignore me and show me the fishes and don't mention the price . I am sure some customers will buy those fishes without knowing the price. And they take away my ashtray for several times, every time I need to ask. don't like the other restaurant which will take your old one at the same time give you...

Excellent restaurant. The ambience is a mix between modern and medieval that works perfectly. The music is at the perfect volume. Staff is excellent, friendly and knowledgeable, they are happy to recommend dishes from the menu. The menu itself is traditional french cuisine, with a local touch.

The food quality is fantastic. We had the duck magret and the catch of the day, and both were outstanding, well presented and flavorful. All this with the added perk of freshly made bread.

The owner is always here, and makes sure every table is properly tended to. We came in August, and while all other places were rambling with tourists, Loov had just three or four tables of locals.

Bonus: they have a great selection of cuban cigars to...

At the last minute, we decided to find a place for dinner and were pleasantly surprised when, despite our large stroller, Thomas secured us a prime table equipped with heaters in a superb spot for people-watching, making our final night in Prague memorable. The cuisine was exceptional, featuring a well-curated selection of seafood perfectly cooked. We enjoyed a tableside filleted sea bream paired wonderfully with a fine Czech Pinot Noir. The starters were also well-prepared. The atmosphere was charming, and our waitress Anesthesia, who spoke fluent English, was very attentive. The desserts were unique and enjoyable. We had an extensive conversation with Thomas, adding to the special experience of our last evening in Prague. Highly recommended.

The service was really average, or even rude or passive aggressive at the start (e.g. constantly didn’t answer your greeting, barely prepared the table) The food was a mix to us. Tartar was amazing, I gave 5 star. Crayfish food was nice, ravioli was average, 4 to 4.5. But the tagliatelle was way too salty that I barely finished half of them. Given the price, this was below my expectations. Hmm, looking back at the last day of the trip, this was the worst restaurant experience in Prague.
