Stayed in room 832 in September as part of a tour group. It's a cute hotel and the front desk staff was nice and helpful for my entire stay. The bed was comfy, the room was quiet, and I appreciated the Nespresso maker because I need caffeine first thing in the morning! My biggest complaint was the terribly constructed shower. The two shower doors swing out, but there is about a one inch gap between the doors when they are closed, which causes water to leak out when you're taking a shower (see pic). This makes the floor wet and slippery, which could cause someone to slip and fall. Plus, you have to ask for extra towels to deal with the mess. The detachable shower head hangs is way too low. The rainfall shower on the ceiling would be great if there was more room to move around and not get water outside the shower. I also kept bumping my elbows into the walls, railing, and knob...kept turning off the shower by accident. There was also mold/mildew on the bottom of the shower along the door edge, which was gross. Would only stay here again if I had a stand up shower that closed properly. Also, while the hotel has wi-fi, you can't pick it up from the third floor. It was unusable to me for my entire stay. I ended up using a ton of mobile data instead. Additionally, while there is a heated towel rack in the bathroom, it was not working properly. I could turn on the switch, the light went on for about a second, then went off. Would have been helpful to help my towels dry so that I could reuse them more easily.

This hotel is placed in a full centre of Prague, few meters from Staroměstské náměstí. First of all I don't think it's a 4 stars hotel. The room was very big, there is also a balcony. In the winter it's a little bit difficult to warm it up as a historical old building, first day and night there was very cold also with the heating on maximum. Like the windows are old, it's very noisy especially in the weekend's nights, that's why you can find there also the earplugs. They have also some parking places (I recommend you to verify the availability before you book the room). The staff at the reception was very kind and friendly. We had to also recieve a bottle of sparkling wine because we booked for more then 2 nights but we didn't get anything! It's a good hotel for a good price in the centre of Prague.

At check in they made us waste 1 hour of time. Very dirty carpeted rooms. It was cold at night and we could not regulate the room temperature. Windows overlooked a very noisy street, and it was difficult to sleep with all that noise. Also, if you choose to return to the hotel late at night you have to enter through a back door which, however, is poorly marked and difficult to find. Absolutely unfriendly staff. The breakfast was bad, cold coffee cold milk, little choice and bad quality. The only plus is the location, but I wouldn't go back

We had the Super King Suite, with a private balcony, room 341. Pros: Location was superb. Close to various attractions, restaurants, shops, public transportation, bars and clubs Bed was, obviously, huge, and it was pretty comfortable Wifi worked great For a stay of 2 nights and longer, we were offered a free one-way transfer to/from airport, or a bottle of wine, which was a lovely touch The room itself was pretty clean Room was quiet, even though the street is bustling The balcony had a great view to the Tyn Church, and had a table with 3 chair and an ashtray The receptionist named Barboura was the one who welcomed us while checking in, and she was very kind and helpful Cons: Some other receptionists weren't bad, but they seemed to be annoyed or indifferent to guests. The balcony wasn't clean enough. There were cobwebs that could have been removed by a simple cleaning Housekeeping didn't replace the used wine glasses and just left them on the table Nespresso machine is NOT free, 1 Euro for each capsule. For the price we paid, and due to the fact it's a 4-star hotel, it would have been more appropriate to make the coffee machine available for free Room was on the 4th floor with no elevators, so it's pretty tough with luggage Room curtains weren't lightproof, as they were transparent Room and bathroom could have been equipped with more amenities, such as wet wipes, shaving and dental kits, better quality tolietries, iron, wine opener Air conditioner is taking more than an hour to cool the room, which is not ideal after the 4 floors climbing that made us sweat We asked for a fan, and received it only after 2-3 hours.

Overall we had a great stay in the hotel. The location couldn't have been better, and the room was spacious, and after we got the fan, most of our needs were met. We will definitely consider staying there again when we're...

We stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very friendly. Our hotel room was situated at the front of the building, and over looked a quiet pedestrianised area. The room was a good size with large bed, tv, fridge with mini bar (chargeable), a nespresso machine (pods are chargeable), and a very small selection of tea and coffee which is free. There was an ironing board, but we had to request an iron from reception. The bathroom is large, with shower, hairdryer, hair/body wash. |There are a few cons to this hotel. As it is an old building, there is no lift. Our room was on the top floor 3rd floor. The stairs are a bit of a killer. Even with just a rucksack for luggage, we struggled. So it could be an issue with a suitcase. |Free water is provided everyday, but the free tea and coffee isn't replenished everyday. Luckily we brought our own tea and coffee, just had to buy milk (do not go to the mini markets, we got charged £3.40 for 1 litre, there is a Zabka supermarket round the corner which is far cheaper). The nespresso machine only gives out luke warm water, so we asked at reception if they could provide a kettle, which they did. |Lastly, if you have a very early checkout, there is no facility to check out, or a box to drop your keys off. Reception is all locked up until 7am.|Overall, this hotel is in a quiet area about a 3 minute walk from the astronomical clock, it's clean and offers a breakfast at a restaurant nearby. If you do have mobility issues in regards to stairs, then maybe this is not the hotel for you, unless you can request a room on a lower floor. Otherwise, for the location of the hotel, it is very...
