We came across a small counter with the Pizza sign outside. There was no seating there. So I asked the smiling lady if they had any seating. She pointed me towards the entrance a little further down that looked like a pub/bar from outside. There was one couple sitting in the restaurant. We where brought the menu by a male member of staff. As we got there about 15:30hrs, we ordered a vegetarian pizza, a vegan casarecce pomodoro (pasta) and some chips to supplement it. The exceptionally rude server said, " we are a Italian restaurant". That really put my nose out of joint. I have attached some photos of the food as well as an interior photo that shows who this rude person is. If you are waiting staff, you choose your words more carefully. He could have simply said, sorry we don't serve that and that would have been it. We all considered leaving the restaurant but as the next door smiling lady had directed us into the restaurants public entrance, we decided to stay. The pizza and pasta were both excellent and very we made, so compliments to the chef. The chilli oil was a nice supplement for the dishes. We all enjoyed this element of our visit. Having paid the bill, we exited the restaurant saying bye to the smiling lady which we could see through the serving hatch and we acknowledged the bye from the server, without looking at him. The food was good but the servers attitude was unprofessional, somewhat ruined the charm of...
Read moreWe had dinner here because my girlfriend is gluten-free, and this place came highly recommended for its gluten-free pizzas. It definitely lived up to the hype!
We started with the Tagliere di Antipasti, a big sharing board of meats, cheeses, and veggies — everything was fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. A great way to kick off the meal.
For our mains, we both had pizzas — the Tropicana and the Affumicata. The Tropicana had the perfect balance of sweet and savory, and the gluten-free crust was light, crispy, and honestly just as good as any regular pizza. The Affumicata (non gluten free) was rich and smoky with speck and melted cheese — really comforting and delicious.
To go with our food, we tried two cocktails: a Daiquiri Natural and a Dark & Stormy. Both were super well made — the Daiquiri was fresh and citrusy, while the Dark & Stormy had that perfect spicy kick from the ginger beer.
The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere felt cozy without being too busy. Overall, it was a great dinner — amazing pizza, great drinks, and a relaxed vibe. Definitely recommend it if you’re in Prague and craving proper Italian pizza (especially if you need gluten-free...
Read moreI highly recommend this pizza place! My mother and I didn’t realize how important reservations were in Prague, and this place was one of the only places that would take us without a reservation at dinner on the weekend. The service was slow, BUT the waitress was so nice and hardworking— it seemed like she was the only one working and was really doing the best she could. Given that it was just one woman, service was amazing.
The basic margherita burrata pizza is delicious, with a nice thin crust and delicious sauce. The pasta aglio, olio, e peperocino looked plain, but was actually much very flavorful than it looked and was quite good. The wines were also good.
Tourists— the waitress spoke several languages and was easily able to help us. And again, they were very welcoming for unprepared Americans without reservations.
I would go there again for a...
