So, I’ve been hearing about Indian Jewel from my friend for years, as she wouldn't stop talking about it!!!! So when I finally made it to Prague, it was at the very top of my must visit list. And honestly? It exceeded even my highest expectations!
From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by how cozy and beautiful the space is. I was wandering around, soaking in the details of the interior, colors and all the pictures on the walls. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff were ABSOLUTELY lovely, so friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind, I was treated like a special guest! You can really feel the love and care that the founder has poured into both the team and the experience.
And then… the food. WOW!!! It’s fun, cause as soon as I stepped in, a waiter passed by with a tray full of dishes, and the scent of spices hit me and I couldn't wait to eat. We ordered Lamb Pasanda, which was unbelievably creamy and tender (melt-in-your-mouth kind of tender), and Chicken Tikka Masala that had the perfect kick of spice and just the right amount of veggies, just mmmm (we even couldn’t resist and ordered a portion to go). Both were served with perfectly cooked white rice and buttery garlic bread. We also had a cold beer and their delicious mango yoghurt. It may not sound like much, but it was so rich and satisfying that I wish I had more room to try other dishes!
Everything - the flavors, the textures, the presentation, the vibe came together for such a memorable meal. Now I finally get why my friend raved about this place for so long… and I’m officially joining the fan club! I’ll be recommending Indian Jewel to everyone I know. Please, just go. You won’t regret it. Can’t wait to come back and thank you for such memorable...

Read moreI had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Indian Jewel! Every dish I tried was a perfect blend of authentic flavors and warm hospitality.
The Paneer Tikka Masala was the star of the evening – the paneer was soft and fresh, and the tomato-onion curry was rich, creamy, and beautifully spiced without being overwhelming. It had just the right balance of tanginess and creaminess, making every bite a delight.
To pair with it, I ordered both Garlic Naan and Tandoori Roti. The naan came out fluffy, buttery, and infused with the aroma of roasted garlic – perfect for soaking up the curry. The roti, on the other hand, had that earthy, wholesome flavor of whole wheat and a slightly crisp finish from the tandoor. Together, they gave me the best of both worlds.
For drinks, I tried both the Mango Lassi and the Salted Lassi – and they complemented the meal beautifully. The mango lassi was smooth, fruity, and refreshing, almost like a dessert in itself, while the salted lassi was light, savory, and cooling – a great balance to the spices in the curry.
Overall, Indian Jewel exceeded my expectations. The food felt authentic, the presentation was lovely, and the flavors were outstanding. If you’re in Prague and craving real Indian cuisine, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming...
