Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)
I recently had the pleasure of visiting "U Supa," a fantastic beer bar nestled in the heart of the Prague city, and my experience there was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the warm and inviting ambiance that set the stage for a memorable evening.
The star of the show undoubtedly was the incredible brew master Tomas, whose passion and craftsmanship were evident in every sip of his half dark/light sliced beer. This unique and innovative creation combined the best of both worlds, blending the rich and robust flavors of a dark beer with the refreshing crispness of a light one. The result was an absolute delight for my taste buds – a harmonious symphony of flavors that left me craving for more!
Tomas' dedication to his craft was apparent as he took the time to explain the brewing process and the inspiration behind his half dark/light sliced beer. It was evident that he put his heart and soul into every batch, and his attention to detail was second to none.
The beer bar itself, "U Supa," exuded a charming and laid-back vibe, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy some exceptional brews. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about the beers they served. Their recommendations were spot on, and I was introduced to some new favorites I'd never tried before.
The selection of beers at "U Supa" was impressive, catering to both seasoned beer enthusiasts and novices like myself. Whether you prefer lagers, ales, stouts, or IPAs, there was something for everyone. And of course, Tomas' half dark/light sliced beer was the true standout among the array of choices.
To complement the beers, "U Supa" also offered a mouthwatering assortment of snacks and appetizers that perfectly complemented the flavors of the brews. The whole experience felt like a carefully orchestrated symphony of taste, leaving me thoroughly impressed.
In conclusion, "U Supa" is a hidden gem that any beer lover must visit. The passion and creativity of brew master Tomas shine through in every drop of his half dark/light sliced beer, making it an absolute must-try. The cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and impressive beer selection make "U Supa" a top-notch destination for anyone seeking an exceptional beer experience. Read moreI traveled to Prague together with my son to celebrate his B-Day, in 2024 it mached with Easter timing. :-) Our hotel placed 10 minutes walk from U Supa - Old Town Brewery. We just walked in from the street around dinner time (7:00 PM), did not make reservation and we got a table. They served simply amazing food, excellent flavours & textures. Their home-made blonde beer is a lager type as we were told, I prefer. I also tasted their so named semi-dark beer, I liked it too. Thier specialty the so named green beer, brewed only in Easter timing. Actually, the taste of the beer is the same as the blonde one, only the color is light green. :-) We were that much satisfied on the evening, that we decided to go there for dinner every evening. The same on the 2nd and the 3rd evening, just fell in from the street, but the staff made a free table for us, massive thank you for it! :-) The first evening we were served and hosted by a jung and kind lady, Natalia :-) we had a short but nice discussion once we finished with our meal. On the second day we were served by another jung and kind lady, Jitka :-). On the 3rd evening we got a table next to the corridor, but suddenly Jitka stepped to our table and she recognized us, and said, "OK guys, this place is not the right one for you as people just walk here back and forth. Come with me, I know a better table for you." :-) What to say, very kind of hosting we got, our pleasure to be in U Supa! Massive thank you to the complete team there, enjoyed every minutes of the atmosphere of the brewery! :-) For any visitors, the menu is available in English, with bar code scanner in IT, ES, DE languages as well. Prices are reasonable, going deeper into the old town the prices of the restaurants are still a bith higher. My stong advise is for everyone : give a try for U Supa! Thanks again and see...
