Bankeråt — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

This used to be very nice place for a brunch. Not anymore. Today I left very disappointed and for sure I am not coming back. The restaurant has changed the owner probably and the brunch is just a disaster now. I ordered 5 items - scrambled eggs were tasting weird, instead of chocolate croissant written in the menu, we got Pain au chocolat, which was almost empty, probably bought somewhere in Netto. Bacon was definitely not fresh, not crispy, it was definitely from previous day, gummy and just quickly heated. Overnight oats were a disaster. Oats had no flavour at all. And frozen berries inside - that's unacceptable. Looked terrible as well. Salmon mousse was the only acceptable dish. The cheap tea was served in glass, I could not enjoy it warm, had to wait until it was cold, as I could not touch the cup, it was too hot. I felt like this is the prison food. Can't believe I paid 200 DKK for this. I do not...

We waited almost an hour for food and the drinks took close to 40 minutes to arrive, while the place was 1/2 empty... Drinks and Full English were passable, but my company mentioned the beans was clearly from a can.

Unfortunately, the brunch was a major letdown:

Croissant close to Osmium in density, unlike the lightness expected from pastry.

The waffle resembled a dry biscuit and was so tough it almost couldn't be cut with a standard knife.

The avocado was oddly crisp, almost like biting into an apple. Meanwhile the apple and pear in the fruit was mealy

Skyr with musli was fine, nothing remarkable

For both the full English and brunch : Bacon was soggy

Eggs were perfectly sunny side up

To top it off, the ladies' restroom was out of toilet paper, although it did have a nice selection of sanitary products.

Disappointing experience overall, definitely not...

Nice décor, one or two craft beers on tap (including Lervig's "Tasty Juice") plus a selection of coffee, wine and spirits. Didn't eat here but the food looked good. No smoking allowed so this is a plus.

What lets this place down is the service. I visited here a few nights seeing at it was across the road from my hotel. First night the service was average but friendly, second night disinterested and the 3rd time no interest at all.

I found an iPad on the floor so I waited a few minutes to catch the eye of the server at the bar but couldn't. My father-in-law wanted a drink so he took up my position and when he told the lady at the bar she shrugged and cast it aside. I guess drinking behind the bar (across all shifts) must create this effect.

Shame, I really like the look...
