First time I’ve ever tried Vietnamese iced coffee, and I loved it! It was really good. The woman who served me was very sweet. This was about two weeks ago.
Went there again today, and they were all out of Vietnamese iced coffee. They recommend coming at least two hours before closing to make sure you get some. (It’s apparently a very popular place.) The girl who served me was polite, but the guy who actually made the drink was not very pleasant, borderline rude.
The iced chai was good, but the pistachio croissant and cardamom brioche were overrated. The pistachio croissant didn’t have a good consistency (which the photos did reveal, but the hype said otherwise) and hardly tasted of pistachio. You could barely taste anything but the butter dough, which was overpowering in a negative way. Might as well just go for a regular croissant at your local convenience store. They’re both cheaper and better. And the cardamom brioche was good, but probably better when it’s completely fresh. This one was obviously not, but it was probably the last batch.
The facilities don’t seem to be very well taken care of. Lack of toilet paper, etc. The atmosphere is whatever, not a lot of people seem to sit there. Most grab the food and drinks to go. I wouldn’t sit there to chill, hang, study or work. There are better places for that. But I’m definitely going back for the Vietnamese iced coffee.
Vietnamese iced coffee: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Chai iced latte w/oat milk: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pistachio croissant: ⭐️ Cardamom brioche: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
All in all an overhyped place that doesn’t live up the actual hype, but the Vietnamese iced coffee is arguably worth it (unless you can find an alternative). Recommend going somewhere else for...
Read moreI had a very disappointing and painful experience at Buka. I paid 115 DKK for a piece of bread that was burned and extremely dry and full of oil so they cover the dryness.. It was so hard that I cut my gum and started bleeding while eating. And I showed her that.. she didn’t even care or want to talk at all!!
When I politely explained this to the staff, they were completely unhelpful, impolite, and refused to offer a replacement. I asked to speak to the manager, but was refused again and dismissed.
Buka is a well-known and expensive bakery, and I expected to be treated better—especially here in Denmark, where respect for customers and consumer rights is the norm. It is not acceptable to be ignored or misled just so a business can profit.
Also, there were no price signs, which is against the rules in Denmark.
You seriously need to learn more about customer care, loyalty, and transparency.
And the coffee is just a tiny portion for 45 DKK—not worth the money at all.
So I just threw both money and food because of the stuff was busy and forgot my food to get too dry and burned.
I’m gonna put it everywhere because of your un trained stuff ( Carolina as she said) .. if you have a business in DENMARK 🇩🇰 you have to do...
