Momo Wok Box — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

We had the Taste of Sichuan (with wok noodles) and Dangerous Bangkok (with glass noodles). Both were amazing and with generous portions. We also had vegan spring rolls which were also lovely, although not much to write home about. The noodles were the highlight, sweet and sour, with just enough sauce to coat the noodle strands without being overwhelming, and without a pool of residual sauce at the bottom of the noodles.

Service was sweet and swift, with food coming out after 5 min of ordering. The atmosphere was welcoming, warm and very intimate, as it is a tiny restaurant, with outdoor seating (6+ seats) and indoor seating (6-7 seats). Not much else of note.

I stumbled across Momo Wok Box while wandering through Copenhagen, and I’m so glad I did. The place has this cozy, street-food vibe where you can watch your meal being cooked right in front of you. I went for the fried noodles with chicken, and honestly, it hit the spot — fresh, flavorful, and just the right amount of spice. You can tell everything is made with care, and I loved that you can build your own bowl to suit your taste. The staff were super friendly and patient, even though it was busy when we visited. Today I order 01 Sichuan noodle. The taste doesn’t like true Sichuan flavour at all (the original Sichuan taste and aroma from herbs and chili), but it easy to eat with almost everyone. The seafood was not fresh, it is truly from refrigerator. The dish costs 155 DKK, but its portion is too little. Of cause it was made by wok with a lot of oil, it is quite unhealthy and my stomach was a litlle bit annoyed after eat this dish. The atmosphere of the restaurant is too small, only 5 people can eat in the restaurant. It was raining at that time I was ordering and we only could eat outside, no umbrella at all!!!
