KB Bagelshop, Islands Brygge — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

I had the most wonderful experience at KB Bagelshop in Islands Brygge today. On my way to Chelsea Handler’s standup comedy show at DR Koncerthuset, I was struggling with a terrible headache. Since it was after 17:00 and all pharmacies were closed, I thought something with chili might help. That’s when I stumbled upon this gem of a sandwich shop.

The lady working there alone was incredibly kind and positive. She made me a superb toast sandwich with chicken, rucola, and jalapeño—absolutely delicious! When I mentioned my headache while paying, she went above and beyond by offering me Panodil from her personal supply. Her kindness made all the difference, and the relief came just in time for me to fully enjoy the show.

Unfortunately, the shop was closed when I passed by after the show, so I couldn’t thank her properly. If you’re looking for great food and even better service, KB Bagelshop is a must-visit....
