If you're a coffee enthusiast always on the hunt for small, unique coffee brands with different roasting styles and blends, Roast Coffee at Vestmannagade 4, 2300 København, Denmark, is a hidden gem!

I had the flat white, and it was perfectly creamy and smooth—one of the best I’ve had in Copenhagen. They also offer a lovely selection of Danish pastries that pair beautifully with your coffee of choice.

What really stood out was the cozy atmosphere and the ability to see the entire coffee-making process from start to finish. It’s a great spot if you enjoy watching your coffee being made with care.

Excellent coffee and atmosphere! Each time I’ve been here, I see people of all ages, including families, which suggests to me they’re making specialty coffee more approachable, in addition to having friendly, knowledgable baristas and banging playlists. For a small shop, they do a lot with the space (roaster is in the adjoining room).

There’s something for everyone here. I like sitting at the bar and watching pourovers being prepared. You can choose from 8-12 different coffees (light, medium, and dark roasts) roasted in-house for your pourover — I’ve tried 4 of their coffees so far and each one was on-point. We stopped by for breakfast. Friendly service and stylish place but the place itself was not so comfy if you sit inside - the bench is too narrow.

What about the coffee/cappuccino? It was better than many other coffees we drank on our way up and down from Nordkapp.

The cappuccino was nothing special, too liquid and not so foamy. As an Italian, I am aware it’s difficult to have a good cappuccino outside of Italy - I travelled extensively and that’s my opinion. Moreover I couldn’t understand if there was something else - apart coffee and milk. It tasted strange.
