I recently visited Original Coffee, a café that positions itself as a new generation coffee shop, during a hot day in Copenhagen. However, my experience there was disappointing. Despite the sweltering heat, they refused to let my Corgi dog in.
While I understand that Copenhagen has regulations that allow establishments to refuse pets, many young and modern restaurants and coffee shops choose not to enforce this rule because it is considered outdated. It is disappointing to see Original Coffee, which claims to be a forward-thinking establishment, adhering to such conservative regulations.
I suspect that the real reason you refuse to allow pets in your café is for fear that they might disrupt the precious minimalist aesthetic of your interior design, rather than out of any concern for your other patrons. It feels insincere to cloak such a decision in the guise of customer service.
Your refusal to adapt and allow pets in your café contradicts your claim of being a new generation café. This instance of hypocrisy has made me question your commitment to a progressive and future-oriented attitude. Actually we just enjoyed a smorrebrod indoor with our dog in the neighbor restaurant.
In Germany and Switzerland this is already common sense that dogs are allowed in almost of all Gastronomy. I can understand some old fashioned expensive restaurants who serve mainly old white mans have to preserve the rules. But in case of a coffee shop, it only means the owner doesn’t like animals, at least having bias...

You order at the counter and they bring the coffee to the table - a much better system than standing and waiting for it. The cafe had a great vibe, busy with young professionals and students. It's perfectly situated opposite the famous Nyboder yellow houses - see the Little Mermaid, then walk 10 minutes around the block to the cafe and take some snaps of...
