To whom it may concern.

Here is an impression of chef who spent 20 years in the biz 5 of which at a fine dining steakhouse in Los Angeles. “555 EAST” look it up.

1* I give to the host or the maître de who presumptuously took me and my wife for a pair of tourists looking for a free bathroom. We ordered a few beers to start after which I was all too eager to check out the food to see if his behavior could be cause by the sublime food from the chef. The host continued on to doubt our intentions and began explaining how difficult the seating situation was and how busy they were lastly telling that only a “children’s table” was available. We agreed to sit at a hight table obviously not suited for a meal and “you will have time only until 18:30 (1 hour)”… now I became really interested.

3* the food… appetizers that arrived were actually OK beef carpaccio covered in parmesan and truffle oil, deep fried oystes with creamed spinach are tough to cook poorly. after 15 minutes looking at a 1/4 filled “very busy” dining room - the entrées arrived: filet mignon pepper style with almost no sauce and a big knob of butter on top, and poorly crusted tuna drowned in spices and sauce… i have to admit - the fillet was cooked excellently and my hat goes off to the grill cook woking his station. Saucier may thought he cooked bernais sauce they claimed goes with the fries… but i’ll tell u this i made bernais from scratch 5 days a week several times a day for 5 years straight. That was not bernais sauce. The fries were good though without any sauce.

Lastly - the atmosphere. It is good if you remove the pretentious host who obviously has no skill judging character. I like a good bistro. Perhaps not this...

I want to start by expressing my gratitude to Patrick, the bartender, for making my experience at the restaurant 100 times better. He was fantastic and really added to the overall atmosphere.

However, I did find that the Filipino gentleman who served us the dishes could have done a better job of explaining which dishes went with what. It was a bit confusing, and I wasn't sure how to pair the different dishes together. I think it would have improved my experience if he had taken the time to explain everything more clearly.

Despite that, I really enjoyed everything about the restaurant and it has quickly become my favorite place to go. I appreciate the great service, amazing food, and wonderful atmosphere.

Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great night out. While there is room for improvement in some areas, the overall experience is truly...

I want to extend a huge thank you to the amazing team at Bistro Boheme for providing such an exceptional dining experience. From the moment our group stepped through the door, We were welcomed with warmth and friendliness that set the tone for the entire evening.

Clearly not worth the visit- the food was good but the service and atmosphere not what you would expect from an expensive bistro in the middle of Copenhagen. Had to remind the waiter several times that one in the party needed gluten free food. The same waiter “challenged” the drinks order and kept saying that we wouldn’t like the drinks we ordered. My wife got tired of waiting for the waiter to re-fill our champagne glasses so she did it herself. To be honest - when the waiter served our table he was too much, too “friendly”, too “funny” as if he knew us personally. Outside that, he was more focused on himself than the customers. Don’t bother go there - you will find equally good food other places in Copenhagen but with significant better service.

I visited this place two months ago in April. It was such an amazing experience and the food was even better than expected. We first enjoyed oysters in the sun with a glass of champagne, the waiter was very friendly and we felt welcome. This place has a huge selection of wines but we couldn't see the opportunity to choose one glass of wine on the menu so we took a bottle - a really good white wine. For starters we had a bisque and scallop carpaccio and for the main we had turbot with caviar and white asparagus and variation of lamb. I cannot put a finger on anything - I will definitely come back especially for the bisque! Thanks to bistro boheme
