Read moreOk where to begin, we arrived at around 2pm with plenty of time to spare, the small café was fairly busy with just one windowsill (I guess?) table seat left, we went to the seats with no place to tuck our legs which was a bit uncomfortable but I’m a reasonable man I can look past it, when we glanced at the menus it seemed lacklustre and simplistic, we made our choices sceptical of the mediocre list of options and went to the till, the worker who served us was lovely and had no trouble helping us and also asked which type of sourdough to pick showing us and just ultimately being respectful. Now here’s the problem, we paid just shy of £45 for two Brekfast options, two drinks and a pastry…which basically was a boiled egg a bun jam and cream and for me fried egg on toast…which is just crazy, it was really nothing special and extremely overpriced, we also thought the cashier might’ve added extra tip as it initially said £41 then she messed about with the payment machine and it went to £44 something. But regardless the food was extremely underwhelming and the drinks were in these tiny glasses, it just felt like we were being mugged off. It’s a shame as it seemed like it would be great from online reception. But hey ho, that’s the online world for you, don’t let it take you...

They have a good product selection, even if not as wide as many other similar places in town.
When I visited, the place was crowded, and you had to wait in line for a staff member to call people based on available seating. I appreciated this because the place is best enjoyed when you can sit down and soak up the atmosphere.
Their Caramel Miso Croissant was great: crunchy and with a very generuous and sweet filling. Perfect if you have a sweet tooth like me, perhaps a bit too intense if you don’t.
The bread with butter and cheese was very good. A great combination for an authentic Danish breakfast. Crispy bread, creamy butter, and delicate cheese.
The only downside was that the staff seemed slightly overwhelmed. I love places with an open kitchen, but if there isn’t order and coordination, it can sometimes be less enjoyable.
Overall, if you're looking for a place to enjoy good food and spend some quality time, it’s definitely...
