I have never been so disappointed in a product.
After purchasing a Christmas chocolate calendar couples edition for the lovely price of 550 dkk my expectations were at an all time high and i was sure we would have a lovely december with great taste experiences.
I think at least half the calendar were renditions of chocolate covered marcipan, which for us is the most common and basic stuff we were exactly looking to be without, especially at this price point. And the chocolate throughout the calendar always felt somewhat cheap, in contrast to what we felt was a very premium price.
I think we had at most 3 out of 24 pieces that were close to being interesting.
We had several pieces which were covered in chocolate that had gone pale.
Nothing that is even close to living up to expectations. We will surely never use Peter Beier for our needs ever again after such a...

I was able to get my QR code without help, I then ordered 4 waffles with hot chocolate the deal said with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce, the lovely lady then told me she was out of chocolate sauce, I said I was happy with a other type of chocolate or even chocolate ice-cream would do, but no, she could not give me anything else outside the deal as that was what I had paid for, I did then mentioned I had paid for chocolate and as we was in a chocolate shop maybe she could come up with something. We did get our waffles with vanilla and sauce in the end. The mood was set witch was a bit sad, hot chocolate and waffles was okay not great. Copenhagen is a charming city no need to waist it...
Read moreWent there today for ice cream and really enjoyed it! Since it's a chocolate store you might want to try the chocolate ice cream. It is a bit darker (55% cocoa) and very creamy. Probably the most delicious chocolate ice cream I have tasted so far. There is also a vegan alternative which I haven't tried though. They also have "Nordic" inspired ice cream flavors. Try passion fruit with crunchy licorice sprinkles if you like licorice (maybe ask for a sample if in doubt). Other "typical" Danish flavors are "fløddeboller" (the Danish version of straciatella), marzipan/nougat, or lemon tarte. They of course also have classics like raspberry sorbet. The flavors available change according to the season. The service is very friendly...
