Ravelinen — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

I don’t usually leave reviews, but our experience here was so off-putting it’s worth warning others. The food was overpriced for what it was—nothing particularly memorable or worth the premium.

But the real issue was the service. Getting his attention to pay the bill felt like an imposition, and when we finally did, he acted visibly annoyed that we were even asking. When we politely requested to split the bill down the middle—a simple and common request—he flat-out refused, said that he was too busy, said it would be “too much effort,” and told us to “work it out amongst yourselves with MobilePay.”

That alone would have been enough to sour the experience, but when I started the process to pay, he snatched the payment machine from me, chose the payment currency without asking, and stormed off without so much as a thank you.

Imagine being that annoyed at customers just for paying the bill.

Highly recommended! We chose Ravelinen for our wedding dinner, and I must say, it was the best decision we could have made! Even before the event, we received a detailed explanation via email, and all of our questions were promptly answered. The service on the evening itself was flawless—everything was served right on time, and all of our special requests were fully accommodated. Arrived 10 minutes early. The waiter was so sweet to welcome us even we came early, then a waitress shouted at him saying that she was not yet done setting all the tables. The poor man, ignored her, and started preparing the table that is allocated for us. He was so nice. It is pricy! The quality is 1 out of 5. The restaurant is disgusting and dirty. They served us with utensils that had remnants of food from a previous guests...eewww. I felt robbed for that price. Definitely not coming back anymore nor will I even recommend this place.
