The Bird and The Churchkey — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

The place was crowded on a Saturday night, but we did find a seat in the large place. There is table service, which is a big plus. However as a place specialised in Gin and Tonic, it would have been nice with cocktails that had a bit more taste to them. There was not a lot of description of the gins on the menu and it seemed more gimmicky than genuine, which is a pity since there's a lot of good gin out there. I guess not that many people aren't willing to pay for the more special gins on a Saturday night out in a big group, but would be nice with a more varied card in that respect as well and not just on the garnish...

This is the top place for gin and tonic in Copenhagen. The drinks are well priced and have a double shot of gin. You can choose from assembling your own or one of the signature drinks of the house. I love the more classic drinks with cucumber or rose water as they combine well the expected taste of gin and tonic with a fresh, new twist.
