My first time trying Kobe steak. Now I understand why it is considered the best in the world... It is on totally another level of steak that I have never experienced before!
However for those interested in the rest of the experience, let me start with excellent service. Our waiter has explained in depth for us the characteristics of each cut of beef which was really helpful since it was our first time with Kobe.
For starters I went with the fried softshell crab. Perfectly crispy on the outside and the meat inside was still so tender... A little spicy which was just right for me but keep that in mind if you do not do spicy.
Afterwards came the star of the show - our around the world set that included a Kobe beef steak, dry-aged Danish ribeye and a "standard" New York strip. All medium-rare to medium. Even if you prefer medium steaks like me, I would really recommend going for medium-rare Kobe, trust me I feel that made this piece just perfect. Dry-aged ribeye was easily the best steak I have eaten excluding the Kobe, but let's be honest - you just cannot get close to that one. New York strip was a really delicious steak that had the most familiar flavour to me as I am used to more standard steaks like that.
All that accompanied by fine Argentinian wine made for one of the most enjoyable evenings.
It is really an experience rather than simple dinner. Wholeheartedly...
Read moreNice place for food but I think it's grossly overpriced for what it is. The steaks are good but mine came out cold. I didn't send back as I didn't want to wait and have it over cooked.
The staff were very nice. Very nice young gentleman with blond hair served us. Charming and debonair.
Service was very good. Food was just fine.
My steak was pretty flavourless in terms of chef prep. Had to add all the sauces and more salt to it. The pepper sauce is not very peppery at all. More like a pepper gravy.
The bernaise sauce is nice but they give a very limited amount.
The chip were tasty but again 55dkk for chips is a bit rich.
So for example the steak comes with nothing. It feels like you're being punished as everything is an extra.. so for 565 dkk you get a nice sized steak.. plus 55 for chips. Plus 35 for a sauce. Oh you want two sauces plus 35. Want grill Jalapenos as a side..plus 55
So steak with nice sauce and chips over 100 euros...
I scored the food 3/5 as for what you get it's not worth the price to value. The steak should be out of this world for that price
I'm sure you see what I mean.
Atmosphere was fine. It has a nice look but could do with something to up the atmosphere. Maybe live piano or something bit jazz in the background.
Seemed a...
Read moreHello MASH We’ve been to MASH many times and have always enjoyed the food and experience, which is why tonight was such a letdown when we had our dinner at MASH FRB.
We arrived a bit late, but called ahead and were told it was fine. When we got there, we were seated in the corner and served by a male waiter. Since we always order the same thing, we ordered right away. But right from the start, the service felt rushed and careless. The waiter poured our water so quickly that he spilled it all over, without saying anything.
A few minutes later, two other guests were seated near us—and they were extremely loud. What made it worse was that our waiter started loudly chatting with them too. It felt really unprofessional and made it hard to enjoy the meal. We were basically sitting in the middle of a loud, disruptive conversation the entire time.
We usually come to MASH for a nice, relaxed evening, and considering the price, we expect a certain level of service and atmosphere. Unfortunately, this time we ended up rushing through our food just to get out of there.
We hope this was just a one-time thing, but it really didn’t live up to the standard we’re used to. We hope this feedback is taken seriously, as we believe MASH can and should always deliver a...
