La Piazzetta — Restaurant in Odense Kommune

This place looks so cute and authentic and intimate with only three tables. Disappointed to find out that the experience does not match these expectations. Service and food were both not impressing. We entered La Piazetta ca. 7.30 pm, but didn't feel very welcomed, when we arrived. All the tables were empty and we asked if we could sit, but the staff answered that they were closing soon 9pm. Having 90 minutes until closing, we felt like we could make it and were seated at a table that had not been wiped off from the previous guests. We thought it mattered less if the pizzas we ordered (no. 4 + 5) tasted good, but unfortunately they were dry and tasteless. It was really disappointing, as in REALLY disappointing. Hopefully they are better at making pasta?

Also pay attention to your receipt before you pay. We paid 30 DKK. for a 33 cl. cola even though it's 25 DKK in the menu card. It's small, but it just adds more to the...

We arrived at La piazzetta at 8:58 right before they closed searching for food as we had just arrived in town minutes before. We smelled the delicious flavors at La Piazzetta and had to eat there. They kindly let us in after their closing time and were very patient and happy. The place was very sweet and cozy with nice Italian music playing and overal good vibes, I will say the place was a little warm for my taste. The pizza was delicious and cheesy our group got multiple different pizzas and shared and i will say the #1,4 and 8 were very good. They had a good variety of cold drinks as well. We had both a pizza and a Tuscan vegetable soup from this excellent place.

The pizza was great, fresh and had a generous amount of fresh toppings. The soup was especially great and unique to come by in Odense. Made from scratch and with a lot of love, nothing but vegetables and beans, and an excellent alternative to the vegetarian and gluten-intolerant.

The to gentlemen serving us was fun and playful. The place is small and cozy with a nice decoration.

The possibility to bring your food to the excellent bar across the street (Den Smagløse Cafe) and get 25% off your first order is another plus.
