Wokshop Odense — Restaurant in Odense Kommune

🚨Seeking attention of the authorized personnel -

I am not sure if she's the manager, talking about the lady who stands in the front desk, supervises things and deals bills. Please educate her to be equally respectful to the delivery guys along with the sitting customers. I mean she might not be welcoming to the people from different ethnicities but when she holds such a position, she is expected to act nice at least( if she doesn't even mean it). That's the very basic hygiene I reckon.

I do delivery & understand that you might be late. But I should be informed about the extra time. Your staff are anyway getting paid if they are even late but we lose money significantly when you are too late and don't even give a rough estimation. I waited an extra 13 minutes and later on I was told it's going to take another extra 10 minutes . A small apology could make the situation calmer but she seemed like nothing happened. I was told it will be even more late, if you take it, take it or cancel it!! I wonder how such a restaurant will be so unprofessional.

I think It's a collaborative work, you make food and we deliver and this is how we bring the joy to the customers, hence mutual respect must...

I visited Wokshop for the first time with some friends. They have been there before and told me that I should expect good food and great atmosphere. Wauw. What a nice little Thai restaurant I walked into, cosy and a bit dark but feel very intime.

My friends ordered "Sweet and sour" and "red panang curry chicken", where I ordered a simpel dish "Chicken fried rice". I was told by my friends to expect big dishes, but was surprised, they were bigger than I expected. What a taste my dish had and oh boy, I was quite full for several hours afterwards. I liked the fact that there were rice ad libitum, so we could order all the rice we wanted. For drinks we ordered water, rhubarb soda and Svaneke Blonde.

I would really love to give them 5 stars but to the price for the drinks sadly brings it down, I think 50 DKK for a 33 cl beer and 45 DKK for a 33 cl rhubarb soda is a bit too much, then I would prefer just water next time.

I’ll start with the positive: nice staff and cosy atmosphere but the food is below average. For the amount you pay it does not translate to the quality of the food. Crispy beef and chicken skewers dried out. The shrimp is okay but you get 5 for 80-90 KR. The fried noodles were disgusting, you could only taste an insanely amount of sweetness, no counter tastes. Red panang curry was okay but for some reasone it left a really fatty residue in the mouth. The rice tasted old aswel as some of the spring onions sprinkled on top. Too bad because the concept is interesting but...
