My friend Bang and I was having a most delicious lunch here at Vietnam Street Food!
We split a no. 3: Vietnamese rolls with grilled juicy pork meat, crispy rice noodles, salad with a tasty peanut dip. Then Bang had a no. 8 on their menu card: Vietnamese pancake with delicious grilled beef meat, while I ordered a Pho, no. 5, the traditionally Vietnamese soup. The “roast duck” had none of the flavor or texture of actual roast duck; it tasted like low-quality, pre-cooked meat with an unpleasant gamey smell. Most of the vegetables were undercooked. Perhaps this is a European take on Vietnamese food meant to suit Danish tastes, but as an Asian, I can confidently say this has nothing to do with authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Do yourself a favor and eat...
