After 10 days of eating at the larger, nicer restaurants all clustered together, we decided to take a chance on this place even if it is small with a location in the wrong direction. It was a good decision. It's a short walk.
Our fried chicken was very good and extremely well priced. The coleslaw had jalapenos in it and something else that gave it a great flavor. The beer was well priced. The fried plantain was as good as any where.
Our server only spoke Spanish and I suspect Haitian french. We got what we ordered. I think it is cash only but you won't need a lot.
If you can get over leaving the area with the larger more expensive restaurants you probably won't be...

Recommend the juices, full fish, shrimp, stewed and dry beef entrees. Get the Arroz Negro over the white. The coleslaw mix is nicely spicy. We liked the fired plantains. All 3 of us enjoyed our meals each time. Great prices.
They also serve oxtail and jerk chicken, but didn't offer it during our stay. Would highly recommend trying it out.
