🍽Dinner at @dreamsresorts #PuntaCana Seaside Grill ⭐️⭐️⭐️ fair rating Not particularly memorable

The steak was rated average My salad looked fancy but had an average taste.

I chose another starter salad but can't remember the name. I remember it being "fine"

The chorizo and cheese dish was also "fine"

The fish with sauce and side of veg was "fine" -same with the chicken.

The desserts were decent.

Service was friendly and fast. Not sure we'd make this a priority "to eat at Restaurant" next time.

Really good, just not great. Spending time on the west coast and particular Portland has given me higher standards for what "gourmet" should be. The food was very nice, but without the creative, modern touch I'm used to. Breakfast was just variations on eggs, bagels, crepes. I was hoping for something more refined, exotic, or even local. This is a place where it is ideal to order as much as you can eat as each platter is downsized to a “fancy restaurant” portion rather than one that plentiful as they try and reduce food waste. Waiter was very accommodating & pleasant. However, there were numerous flies that ruined the overall atmosphere for me.
