I recently returned to the USA and finally found some time to write this review for Chuta Madre. I visited this cozy little spot for the second time while in Quito, and it did not disappoint! I arrived around 9 am, and although it was quite busy, with about a 20-minute wait, I didn't mind at all. The staff were incredibly polite and friendly, which made the wait more than bearable.
As for the food, I tried their bread and avocado toast, which were okay, but the real star was the pistachio croissant—wow! The filling was absolutely to die for! My two teenagers and I enjoyed a lovely atmosphere with amazing views of the city and a delicious and healthy breakfast.
