Spitfire Bar — Restaurant in Alexandria

It's always nice to find a local bar in Egypt, so it was great. The place was a bit hard to find, but that's good cz you really feel like you deserve that beer.

The place opened at 7 pm but we were there during the end of Ramadan, so not sure if it's a Ramadan thing or if that's how it always is. There was a 300le cover charge per head as well. We were only there for 1 beer, but they let us carry out 4 extra beers to make up for the cover charge. Which was nice.

They don't let you sit downstairs if yourw only 2, that part is reserved for bigger groups. But overall, the place is nice.

I didn't eat anything there, so not sure...

I came to Alexandria for 5 days. And found this place. It is truly amazing place!! Honestly it is an amazing bar with good snacks and the best international music. Also very good rock songs!! The eagles, Metallica, Aerosmith, everything you find it here. I tried some bars in all over Alexandria. This is my favorite. Just to mention it is a Bar. Not a rest/bar. But the best place to chill out, relax, drink a beer and listen good music. I enjoyed a lot my time...

Fantastic old time bar in Alexandria. It is difficult to find but worth the effort. Really cool vibe with great music and reasonably priced drinks - if I lived in Alexandria, I'd be there every week. Enter through a building on Mohammed Ibrahim Selim side street. There is usually a security guard there at the building entrance, and he knows what you're looking for!
