Fika, aside from F-Hoone, has possibly the best setting of any of the cafes in this rejuvenating oldish factory area, primarily because of the building within which it sits. Small, cozy, light casual food.
Just a 10min walk from the Central Train Station, and maybe 25mins walk from the Old Town Square. Such a great area.
Coffee was nice, and very nicely presented. Food is simple, for example, I had smashed avo on good quality sourdough, would have loved some Vegemite with it. This also came nicely presented with some cheese and proper table salt. Could've been served with an egg as well. The other shops in the building are really interesting, just walk down the long hallway from Fika and one comes across arty clothes shops, a marvellous bookshop with some interesting English books, especially one on the folklore traditions of Estonia via a series of short stories. The bathroom, which serves both Fika and the other shops in this long brick building from the 50s, is really clean. Attached pics of Fika, and some of the very nearby surrounds which should be viewed as part of the overall...
