Fika, aside from F-Hoone, has possibly the best setting of any of the cafes in this rejuvenating oldish factory area, primarily because of the building within which it sits. Small, cozy, light casual food.

Just a 10min walk from the Central Train Station, and maybe 25mins walk from the Old Town Square. Such a great area.

Coffee was nice, and very nicely presented. Food is simple, for example, I had smashed avo on good quality sourdough, would have loved some Vegemite with it. This also came nicely presented with some cheese and proper table salt. Could've been served with an egg as well. The other shops in the building are really interesting, just walk down the long hallway from Fika and one comes across arty clothes shops, a marvellous bookshop with some interesting English books, especially one on the folklore traditions of Estonia via a series of short stories. The bathroom, which serves both Fika and the other shops in this long brick building from the 50s, is really clean. Attached pics of Fika, and some of the very nearby surrounds which should be viewed as part of the overall...

A cozy specialty coffee spot at the heart of Telliskivi. Within a walking distance from the tram stop. The coffee shop is larger than Fika Bakery. The smell of pastries is unbelievable, the Paper Mill coffee is nice, of course. Seriously, one of the best reasonably priced almond croissants in the city. Crunchy, not that sweet, straight from the oven. Flat whites are usually well-balanced. Amazing latte art. A perfect combination and a great start to the day!

P.S. Run as fast as you can to try its vastlakukkel. As a rule, not a fan of those buns that remind me of bread with heavy cream. But this one is something else, believe me. It got this unique crispiness, a nice combination of almond heavy cream with berries and jam....

1 | Nice café in hipsterland with good coffee and a fairly wide range of sweet pastries. 2 | The drink menu includes seasonal stuff like cold brew, iced americano and juices. 3 | Prices are slightly above average, with a double espresso for €3, cappuccino and flat white for €3.50. However, they are commensurate with the quality and ambience. It is possible to pay by card. 4 | Seats are relatively few, in good weather you can sit outside. 5 | The café is part of the Telliskivi Creative City complex, where there are trendy bistros, brasseries, street art and other...
