Discovered St. Vitus today, halfway thru my 2 weeks in Tallinn.

Very few tourists come here, but it is just a very short walk north of the main train national train station. Max 500m in a straight line between the two. And it is really only a short walk from the Patkuli viewing platform. The team shown in the pic, No 1 tram to Kadriorg, passes directly in front of St. Vitus.

VERY interesting quality bar with quality people here, featuring more the younger set, may mid 20s to around 40, but that's an observation based on 1 visit. There were about 30 people there at 5pm of a Thursday arvo. Food is great, nice selection of snacks and meals, I've included pics of the menu. Didn't try any alcohol as it wasn't the day or time of day for me to imbibe, nonetheless, I had a very nice grape juice, perfect temperature, and delicious lightly salted hot sweet potato chips. Perhaps check out one of the latest BBC articles on Food, talking significantly about the use of sweet potatoes in the traditional Okinawan diet, helping assist the longevity of these fine people.

It's also only a short walk to the Port from here. I've included quite a few pics of the lovely, and partly unrenovated, old timber homes in a rectangle from St. Vitus. Take a walk along the streets opposite St. Vitus and really get a feel for an older style of living, probably...

St. Vitus Bar is an absolute disgrace to the hospitality industry. The staff's complete disregard for their customers is truly disheartening. My group of eight was met with an extremely unaccommodating attitude when we were told that seating two tables together was forbidden and we needed to find another place to go. This was despite the fact that the bar was far from capacity and had several empty tables available.

The staff's inability to provide basic customer service is a direct reflection of their lack of training and disregard for the well-being of their customers. This kind of treatment is unacceptable and should not be tolerated. A good establishment always puts the needs of its customers first, and the staff at St. Vitus Bar clearly have no interest in doing so.

It's a shame that the bar has such poor management that would rather turn away paying customers than make a simple exception to their seating policy. This lack of flexibility and complete disregard for customer satisfaction is a major failure on their part and a stain on the reputation of St. Vitus Bar.

In conclusion, I would never recommend this bar to anyone. The staff's poor attitude and complete lack of customer service makes it a place to avoid at all costs. It's a disappointment to see a bar with such potential fall so short in their...

Horrible service with xenophobic staff. A group of Brazilian people reserved a table for a birthday party, and the birthday person let the pub know in advance there could have been more people coming. They were standing (no seats available) and ordering food/drinks as every other customer, but a very rude waitress took upon her to expel an entire group of Brazilian expats (who were well behaved, mind you) who just wanted to celebrate someone's birthday.

Of course the pub has the right to enforce any rules they want to, but politeness and open communication goes a long way for customer satisfaction. They could have warned in advance that standing on the pub was not allowed. They could have given the party an alloted time to leave so everyone could decide where to go. They could have been polite while asking everyone to leave.

Everyone working on St. Vitus on Feb 18, 2023 failed miserably in doing any of those things, or having basic human decency, professionalism or social skills. They should not be allowed to work with people whatsoever until they learn basic manners.

Not worth your time and definitely not worth your money. Steer clear of this bar if you're not a local, the staff will treat you like less than...

Service is good. It gets packed after 7. You might need a reservation during peak periods (Friday, Saturdays).

Good beer place on the edge of Telliskivi. Can't really call it a Pub by my standards but a great bar! A pretty large choice of local and imported beers on tap and bottled. Very decent Guinness pour to be honest, appreciate that. A good choice of food as well, from finger food to Mac& cheese and meals. The place is big, usually popular with groups of people, a couple of booths for smaller groups that could offer some privacy if needed with closing curtains. Friendly and nice service, I've never been disappointed there. Would more be a choice when looking to accommodate a group of people rather than when looking for a chill place to chat en tête à tête.
