Bistro Manu — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

Even the friendly waitress could not save this experience. There was just two tables tok be served so this should have been a breeze, but it were not to be. The waitress was quick to come over, offering a drink to start off. From there it went South. After ordering a salmon soup, grillede sirloin, and dessert I was hoping for a speedy serving since it was late and close to no other guests in. As time dragged on I had to ask for the soup. It was then served at once. The soup was then served with could potatoes. No problem, a new bowl was brought. The wine was allso served, definetivly hot, but OK. But when it had cork in it as well it kind of tipped the hole experience from shit happens, to what is this... The grilled sirlon was then served, bone dry. I guess I should have tanken the hint when I asked for medium-rear, and was told that was not possible. In retrospect the only reason I can think of why that is not possible is because it is premade and then re-heated. The dessert washing just fine. But in sum the best part of the meal was the waitress. If you are looking for a good meal, go...

This ranks as one of the top 3 worst experiences I've had at a restaurant.

We arrived at 21:00 (kitchen closes at 22) and were seated by a friendly waitress. Just as we sat down, another waiter approached and rudely informed us that we couldn't sit there, publicly scolding the waitress. He then led us to another table, threw the menus on it, and hurried us to order, emphasizing that the kitchen was closing really soon and we could only choose from a few main dishes with no starters available. After taking our orders, he abruptly asked, "You're all just having water, right?" before walking away without finishing his sentence. We stopped him to ask if we could order drinks as well, to which he sighed and snappily replied, "What do you want then?"

When the food finally arrived after a while, we had to request utensils to eat.

The food was okay, but unfortunately, this waitress really brought down the whole atmosphere, and we were not satisfied at all when we left.

I also feel sorry for the other waitresses working there because this waiter doesn’t seem like a pleasant person...

We had a table reservation at 1915, but got a table even if we were almost half an hour early. From there, it did not go well: the restaurant was less than half full but service was the slowest I have experienced in a long time! After waiting for someone to get our order, we waited for about 30 minutes to get our starter, then another half hour to get our main. No one was checking if the food was good (potatoes were cold) or if we wanted more to drink. An hour after we finished our main, someone remembered to ask if everything was good, so I got to order my dessert. When it arrived 20 minutes later, they had forgotten about my coffee. After another hour of waiting, putting on our coats and clearly having the wallet, still no one came to give us the check.

I do not recommend this place. Food was decent. It took almost 3 hours...
