Itsu Demo Helsinki is a unique and innovative concept that brings Japanese cuisine to the heart of Helsinki, Finland. As a food lover and a fan of Japanese culture, I was excited to try out this new restaurant, and it did not disappoint!
One of the first things that struck me about Itsu Demo Helsinki was its sleek and modern interior. The restaurant has a minimalist design with clean lines, contemporary furnishings, and subtle Japanese-inspired decor that creates a serene and welcoming atmosphere. The open kitchen allows diners to witness the skillful preparation of their meals, adding an interactive element to the dining experience.
The menu at Itsu Demo Helsinki is focused on traditional Japanese dishes with a modern twist. They offer a wide range of options, including sushi, ramen, tempura, and grilled dishes, all made with high-quality ingredients. One of the highlights of my meal was the sushi, which was impeccably fresh and beautifully presented. The flavors were balanced and authentic, and the attention to detail in the presentation was evident.
What sets Itsu Demo Helsinki apart is its unique ordering system. Diners use an electronic tablet at their table to place their orders, and the food is then delivered via a conveyor belt that runs through the restaurant. This interactive and fun way of ordering and receiving food adds an element of excitement to the dining experience, especially for first-time visitors.
The service at Itsu Demo Helsinki was friendly and attentive. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and made recommendations based on our preferences. They also took the time to explain how the ordering system worked and ensured that we were comfortable with it.
Overall, I had a fantastic dining experience at Itsu Demo Helsinki. The combination of delicious Japanese cuisine, modern atmosphere, and unique ordering system made it a memorable and enjoyable meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a taste of Japan in Helsinki. Whether you're a sushi lover, a ramen enthusiast, or simply someone who appreciates innovative dining concepts, Itsu Demo Helsinki is worth checking out. I can't wait to go back and try more of their...
Read moreOur family decided to celebrate our daughter's birthday at this restaurant. Everything was going well, but our celebration was ruined by the disrespectful and unprofessional behavior of Sara, restaurant manager. We had several bouquets of flowers, and we decided to use a small water decanter which was on our table. Sara came at our table and took out the decanter, explaining that they don’t have many of them at the restaurant. Our only decanter was taken from the table. We asked her to replace it with something else, but she refused and said that the restaurant didn't have any flower vases. We travel a lot, and in similar situations, other restaurants offer vases for flowers, but it seems, it’s not a case at this one. Sarah was rude and disrespectful to us and has to learn about good customer service. As a result, we were very disappointed by this poor service and will never come back to « Itsudemo « Kampi again. Is a small glass (decanter) means more important than the customers' good mood?
🛑 Our review is a reaction to the actions of only one restaurant employee, Sara, as she said, the manager(esimies)When we asked for help with the flowers, she refused, and it was very unpleasant. We wish Sarah more professionalism and courtesy in dealing...
Read moreI really liked the atmosphere and the staff was lovely - friendly and helpful. I didn't like sushi at all. I'm sorry. It felt dry and a bit tired. The sushi rice wasn't so good. There was so so little amount of tasteful mayonnaise on top of the grilled salmon nigiri and a very small amount of salmon. I am spoilt as I am used to get those with a generous amount of mayonnaise and salmon from Long Hua, Hao King or even K-market foodstore sushi buffet. There wasn't any deep fried juicy makis or wonderful fat makis WITHOUT avocado. Many people dislike avocado. There were lots of very little colourful sushis and I didn't understand what they contained as they vere so small. I tried one, but it was like dry paste filling and I didn't like it. I literally walked in front of sushi station and nothing didn't feel very inviting. The warm food was very good. The dessert section was very generous. Coffee cups didn't seem to be super clean, but after checking I understood the cups are old and the stains vere small scratches. The colourful water tastes like nothing. Lemonade is way better. Overall everything was ok besides sushi, but I went to get a good sushi experience, so...a little...
