A Haven of Human Connection I've been to a lot of cafes over the last few decades, but very few hit the mark quite like Enchanté Café. This isn't just a place to grab a good coffee; it's a place to come for the experience. It's a social hub, a place to feel welcome and appreciated as a customer – something sorely lacking in Helsinki. Sadly, other cafes miss the mark completely when it comes to understanding the history and function of the café experience. A café should be an experience rooted in friendly discourse, a place where you're enthusiastically welcomed, a respite from the daily grind, and a space for the exchange of thoughts and ideas fueled by caffeine and camaraderie. The heart of Enchanté Café lies in its owners. They greet every customer with a genuine smile and remember regulars by name. It feels more like catching up with friends than simply grabbing a coffee. If you happen to need to brush up on your French conversation skills, this is the place to be! Enchanté doesn't just serve coffee and pastries; it's a vibrant haven alive with energy and friendliness. It's an experience that goes beyond a good cup of coffee; it's a reminder of the simple joy of human connection, leaving you feeling uplifted and encouraged. In high school French class, I learned the word "enchanté," which translates to "enchanted." Here, "enchantment" translates to the feeling of genuine warmth and welcome you receive upon entering. Even though the café may not possess magical spells, it creates the one kind of magical experience we all need now more than ever: the human experience. In a northern country with exceedingly long, dark winters, where connection and positivity are not just good to have but a requirement to live a life worth living, the apropos words of French philosopher Albert Camus seem more than appropriate: "In the depth of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an...

The barista was excellent at guiding me through at picking the perfect coffee for my current vibe as I was a bit unsure what I should pick, but oh boy, did it deliver! We eventually honed in that café cortado would be THE drink for me. And oh boy it sure was! The coffee was excellent, I really, really can't complain! It hit each and every one of the correct notes that I expected and delivered them with finesse! (And with a cute heart on the foam.) To wrap all that up, the coffee and service were PERFECTION! ✨
The interior is compact, but gives plenty of personal space for parties enjoying their orders and during summertime there are a few tables outside where you can sip at your coffee while enjoying the sun. If you're planning to arrive with a party of over 10 people, I'd take note that some of you will have to sit at a different table, as the biggest table can hold a maximum of 10 people "comfortably", good to...

So we had the “cappuccino cake” and a napolean cake. They were OK. Not worth it the price though.
I can understand the shortage of products specially when they are done fresh every day.
What led me to do this review, however, was the customer service. The only guy serving at this time just felt like he HATED to be there. He wasn’t really in the mood of serving at ALL. We asked about the prices and the cake’s flavors and he just rolled his eyes before answering it.
Guess the owner needs to open his eyes in order not to mess up the good reputation he has built for this place.
They also have a good reputation here of being super pet friendly. Hmm.. didn’t feel like it either. My dog wasn’t even offered a bowl of water.
The song didn’t match the vibe of the place and the server just put the volume all up in order and it felt like he was telling...
