Théhuone — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

This tea shop is small and quite cozy, however the part where you are supposed to sit down and enjoy the tea is bit bland. It's bit darker room with grey empty walls. I wish there would be some more brightening elements to feel more comfortable in there while sipping your tea.

Service was very friendly, they are always willing to help you which tea to try out. For each order you get also few oat cookies on the side. You can also always refill your teapot with hot water for another batch of tea. In the shop you can of course buy the tea itself there for yourself or as a gift.

Overall I think it is a great place to come and enjoy some...

What a charming service and huge selection of teas! We felt very welcome and were patiently served when enjoying our tea and the refill of the right temperature water, and when choosing teas and utensils to bring home. The simple atmosphere of the tea room, and the amazingly vast selection of teas of the shop were highly pleasing. My friends introduced this place to me yesterday, and from now on I will purchase my teas from Théhuone because of the exellence of quality, price, service and knowledge. I was in the area, so I visited the store shortly after its opening to retrieve my online order placed the previous evening. Despite not having received a notification regarding order readiness, I was pleased that the staff accommodated my request to prepare it while I waited.

The seamless division of the space into a retail area and a lounge was particularly appealing. The inviting ambiance prompted me to order a cup of jeoncha, which I enjoyed while awaiting the completion...
