I recently had the pleasure of dining at Levant in Helsinki, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. This hidden gem offers an exquisite and diverse vegetarian menu that is truly a delight for the taste buds. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a cozy meal.

From the moment I entered Levant, the friendly and attentive staff made me feel right at home. They were happy to offer recommendations and provide insight into the unique flavors and ingredients that went into each dish. The menu offers a fantastic range of options that cater to every palate, and I found it difficult to choose just one dish.

I finally settled on a mouthwatering selection of mezze, which included heavenly hummus, crispy falafel, and tangy tabbouleh, accompanied by warm, fluffy pita bread. Each dish was bursting with flavor and expertly presented, showcasing the chef's true passion for vegetarian cuisine. The meal was not only satisfying but also left me feeling nourished and refreshed.

Levant's serene ambiance and tasteful decor added to the overall enjoyment of my meal. The soft lighting and comfortable seating created a relaxed dining environment, perfect for both casual get-togethers and special occasions.

In conclusion, Levant is a must-visit for anyone in search of exceptional vegetarian cuisine in Helsinki. With its welcoming atmosphere, delicious dishes, and superb service, it's no wonder that this restaurant has quickly become one of my all-time favorites. I can't wait to return and sample more of their...

We ended up at Levant by coincidence. We were roaming around Helsinki and just liked the interior of the restaurant, which gives the vibes of a parisian cafè. We were warmly welcomed and we immediately felt at the right place. The old time jazz music in the background made it even cosier for us.

We were not sure what to order and our server suggested Meze for sharing. We ordered one with 8 options and it was more than enough for 2 people. It was very delicious! Every bite is something different and very enjoyable. Also very delicious was the ginger lime lemonade and the local to Helsinki craft beer. We liked it so much at Levant that we came 2nd time during our stay in Helsinki…as the owner himself predicted. :)  He was also right that my husband will like their hummus even though he has always disliked hummus.

The 2nd time we ordered the chicken shawarma burger. And it was great! We expected the usual, almost  shredded, small pieces of chicken but it was actually grilled chicken fillets - juicy and delicious. So we also recommend the chicken burger if you don't want to share. The lebanese beer was Heineken type of beer so better go with the helsinki’s craft beer. At least for us it was more enjoyable, with more character. Just ask the server for one.

P.S. special greetings to the cheerful finish guy that is learning chinese. He was really kind, attentive, with good suggestions and explanations about the food.  He made our visit to Levant even...

Went to this café with my friends to celebrate a birthday. We had reserved a table in advance, but when we arrived, the waitress had no idea where to seat us — it felt like they had completely forgotten about our reservation. Luckily, there were only four of us, and they found a table, but it was sticky.

The waitress was walking around with a dirty rag the entire time, which was already unpleasant, but at one point she accidentally brushed it against one of the girls' white jackets — absolutely awful.

The menu was very limited, so we ordered some rolls. I chose a meat roll, which took 20 minutes to arrive. The meat tasted burnt, but the worst part was the sauce. From the very first bite, it had a sharp sour taste, like something had gone bad. I asked my friends to try it too — they all agreed it tasted strange, like the sauce had spoiled. We asked the staff to check it, and the chef replied that "the sauce was made just 5 days ago" and that "it was fine." Seriously? That’s their idea of acceptable?

In the end, I only paid for the fries and left. The experience completely ruined our mood. I definitely won’t be going back and wouldn’t recommend...

Overall very enjoyable and would recommend. Lovely food. Amazingly friendly service. Nice atmosphere. Sit down and order at the counter style. Also looked like there was a secret room downstairs which looked really nice to sit in! Lots of people were ordering chicken wraps which looked good. I will be going back to try! We went for the meze for two with the following items: Chilli bread: Warning it’s hot! If you don’t like spice I would asked for it without the chilli Hummus: Nice Tzatziki: Really enjoyed Baba ganoush: Really enjoyed Kebbeh: I really liked but my friend thought it lacked flavour Grilled chicken: Best dish we ordered. Juicy and flavourful Batata harra: Nice but could be heated Seasonal vegetables: Again nice but could be heated Marinated mushrooms: really big and juicy but I would have preferred them heated as they come cold.
