This is a fantastic restaurant with a really lovely concept (which all restaurants should really be aiming for) where they only make meals/dishes with products sourced locally to Helsinki or within Finland at least.

The service is impeccable, with the staff able to detail the dishes in English, making sure you understand where each of the ingredients making up the dish comes from. They were also happy to take questions or explain more about the ingredients, when I suggested they seemed to use a lot of pickled vegetables and berries they explained why. They were attentive too, making sure our water glasses were always filled.

I might be wrong, but I believe their drinks are also those that can only be sourced locally to Finland. We had a glass of (I think) blueberry white wine, so you're unlikely to find your traditional wines from France or Italy (though best to ask since I didn't).

Since the ingredients are sourced locally and from local producers, the menu is likely to change daily.

If they're not already on the Michelin star list, then I suspect they will be soon. I would get here early so you can say you dined here before the...

Really enjoyed the concept, love the idea that everything besides the salts came from Finland. So no other spices, just herbs. And I also love the fact that was all grown outside. The tasting menu with the wine pairing went well, no complaints everything was delicious.

And while I understand that yes I am from the US, however, it should not take nearly 4 hours to serve me six courses. The time between was way too long, we lost all the daylight lost out on seeing the rest of the city because we were stuck in a hot sweltering small room

And before I came, I did my research and every Google search indicated that there was no tipping in Finland. So explain to me how when the check came and it came time for me to pay with my credit card the machine had the option of 15% tip already pre-selected. It also did not have an option for no tip.

The fact that we waited 4 hours and getting way too hot and then getting money taken from our pockets in the end made me give this two stars. Feel free to correct me management, but you stole my...

Almost half a year has passed since we visited this restaurant but since I initially forgot to review it I need to do it now. I think it is a testament to this place that I still think about it regularly.

Everything about this place is perfect. No other rating than a perfect 5 stars can make justice to how beautiful everything about this place is. I think this is the place you should come to if you want to experience Finnish food in its most organic and natural form.

If you read the other comments you know that the place has a very unique idea. They also execute it stunningly. We visited the place in November when Finland is supposed to be a frozen land and provide no natural ingredients. On the contrary, the dinner was mouthwateringly good.

The place is small and cozy, and customer service couldn’t get any better. This is still my best or second best restaurant...
