The waiters seemed to be in such a hurry to just list out all of the ingredients and went away as fast as they could. They spoke so fast while moving around that we needed to ask them to stop and repeat themselves.
When placing the plates down, instead of asking or waiting for my friend to move away (they were looking over to check something on the phone), the waiters just rudely shoved the plate in-between my friends without any warning.
When pouring water and wine, the waiters were quite careless, they dropped some water into the food plates and some wine tripped on the side of the glass.
I did not notice these problems with any other tables. Maybe it was because we looked relatively young so they didn't think they needed to be more respectful?
The food was quite nice, albeit the full menu was a bit fatty for our taste. Two of my friends ordered the beef main course instead of the official fish one, the beef tasted good, however, it was cooked to medium. They did not ask how we wanted the steak to be done. Maybe it was intended that way, but the beef should have been more tender.
I clearly stated in my reservation that I did not enjoy eating large pieces of onions. When I went to Ragu, the waiter clarified again my request, and they were able to substitute onion pieces in a dish. However, in Muru, nobody mentioned anything, and in the dish I received, there were at least 4-5 whole pearl onions.
For the price, the service level was very mediocre compared to other restaurants such as Farang, Aito, Ragu and...
Read moreI had a great time, the only reason for the missing star is due to the somewhat slow turn around between courses. I hold places of this caliber to a higher standard, I had to spend a lot of time waiting, which normally would be fine, but Muru isn’t a normal restaurant.
Although the service was somewhat lacking in during my visit the food was really good! And I felt like the food that I got was a good value for the price.
I don’t usually get wine pairings, but I was intrigued and wanted to have the full experience. The wines were a bit pricey, but still overall I didn’t feel like I was being ripped off, since they do have to up-charge glasses to make money.
I knew going to a restaurant of this caliber would have the possibility of interesting food dishes, but the weirdest thing was beef tongue, which was alright, wouldn’t be my first choice. But, I did eat it all.
In conclusion, I would return. Side note; If you are claustrophobic, this restaurant will be your worst nightmare. Very tiny, not much room, and the bathrooms are smaller than you’d think possible. Luckily this...

In the beginning the dishes were coming almost too fast from the kitchen, right after one another, and at the end, we ended up waiting dessert for 40mins.
The problem was the waitering: we felt not welcomed - and that’s a problem if you’re dining in restaurant! After each course the empty plates waited in the table until the next course. The staff seemed to have an attitude - they were friendly and polite but not genuine and left a feeling that they’d hope we would be somewhere else. Not sure will I return. Alen‘s another restaurant Finnjävel did not leave even a hint of similar feeling, but I’m not sure would I ever...
