Oishi Sushi — Restaurant in Porvoo sub-region

Chinese-operated "buffet" restaurants here tend to brand themselves as Japanese, serving a spread ranging from sushi to noodles, curry to hash browns. Perhaps it is a marketing tactic to draw the mostly Finnish crowd. Food is not of exceptional quality, but it is definitely value for money. To my picky Asian palate, their sushi is definitely better than their Chinese or their Western. That said, my fiancé and I love to come here. This is our second visit. The restaurant has a nice dining space and we got sodas on the house with the buffet. The buffet is great and the sushis are soft and the best I've eaten🍱💗 there are also amazing fried potatoes. i also think that the price is good for the buffet.

Cozy and honest buffet place with a well rounded selection of both cold/sushi and warm dishes. What really takes the cake tho is the DIY noodle station filled with diverse spices, topping and ingredients. Various desserts, tea and even ice cream only 1 block away from the old porvoo town center. All of this for 9€/person (12€ in the weekend).
