Burger Bar - La Maison du HanDBurger — Restaurant in Aix-en-Provence

Not impressed, food was good but service was pathetic. Burgers were a bit on the expensive side (10-13 Euros). The 2 bus-girls were helpful and spoke decent English but couldn't take the order. The trouble was with the male waiter. He was inefficient and struggled with even the most rudimentary English (in a tourist town with an English menu?). Ordered two Savoy burgers, one done medium well, the other medium rare. The person who brought them out could not tell which was which, and neither could we. The burgers were good, but they neglected to bring out the fries that were part of the combo so we had to ask for them. When we were done eating, the waiter asked if we were ready for the check. We said yes and then 10 minutes later he still had not brought it out. We asked him again to bring out the check (37.50) and gave him a 50 euro note. He brought 2.50 in change neglecting the other 10 euros. After I looked at him and showed my concern, he brought out the other 10. Really? Not worth the...

We came to this restaurant and wanted 3 seats; and we wanted to sit outside but there were only tables with 2 seats available. The waitress asked us to wait until 2 adjucent tables are free and we did wait just outside. A couple saw us and offers to sit in another free table so we can have 2 adjacent table, which was very nice of them. This all happened in a matter of 10 seconds. Everything was nice until the waiter came angerly accusing us of asking costumers to move which we didn't. We asked the other couple to confirm that they offerd, which they did, but the waiter didnt oppologise!

We visited on an Sunday afternoon, glad it was open by 15h where most of the other restaurants were closed. The girl wasn’t welcoming and even didn’t look at us or say a good word! She didn’t even answered us when we wanted to make the order. Minutes later someone came to take it and I think he was the manager. He was welcoming and smiling to us. Food came quickly and it was hot and looks very delicious. My vegan burger was good but oily, but the taste wasn’t bad at all.
