Come to this gem of a restaurant if you are looking for a great meal and good value for your money. Like any tourist town Aix is full of restaurants, many of them serving over priced, average food to the masses. We were delighted to have found this diamond of a restaurant, located in a more quiet side street away from the hustle and bustle of Cours Mirabeau. This restaurant is a small husband and wife operation and the attention and love of the owners is evident in the comfortable interior, friendly and professional service, and most importantly in the food and wine on offer. Every plate that came out of the kitchen was lovely presented, the preparation was spot on, and the flavours were wonderful-French food at its best. Our compliments to the Chef! You know you have eaten well when you leave an establishment feeling well looked after and knowing that you have just enjoyed a memorable evening in good company. P.S. we did not attach any pictures as 1) we believe great food deserves one’s attention and is meant to be enjoyed rather then photographed and 2) why spoil the surprise for you… J....
Read moreI have so much love for this place. Food menu is small and highly curated so obviously each dish was absolutely delicious. Best of French cuisine, simple full of heart and honest. If you’re craving it after watching Ratatouille you’ve come to the right place. They also had a great wine selection to pair with the meals. The staff was so lovely I can’t complement them enough. Attentive and kind and just happy to entertain their guests. So go and sit in their adorable outside area in a little side road and enjoy some amazing food and great wine.
For my gluten free people:

Read moreI ate there 2 time in a row, that's how much I like this place. It is a rare mix of good food and a very pleasant atmosphere. I tried both meat and fish, and both were excellent. Desserts - often a low point in many restaurants - are really amazing (that lemon cream with meringues I will miss it). All the wines I have tasted here (about 3 red, 1 white, 1 dessert wine) were really really nice, and - I must admit - way better than equally priced wines I usually get served in some restaurants in Rome. Most of all, I can't stress enough how pleasant is the ambient to me. One can really spend a relaxing evening eating, chatting and drinking. And be warned, while those pictures are nice, I think that in person is even...
