What a delight! This charming restaurant sits downstairs off the street in what looks like a wine cellar. The menu is not extensive, but the food is thoughtfully and beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious. We enjoyed a poached salmon on linguini, Saltimbocca, the filet au poivre, and a ravioli made with feta,mint and fava beans in a delicate cream sauce. The desserts were just as lovely, from the tiramisu and tarte citron to a molten chocolate cake. Service was relaxed but attentive, and the proprietress managed our lack of French language skills with grace and good humor. On a Tuesday evening, we had the place to ourselves. Very cool underground cave atmosphere only surpassed by a wonderful hostess/waitress/owner! Nina was not great with English, BUT she communicated very well with her personality and graciousness.

Then the food - wow! Burrata was delivered on an artistic board with veggies and an edible bowl that was beautiful. My Saltimbocca was very good, but the star of the night was the tagliatelle in a spicy curry cream sauce with pieces of chicken breast that was to die for - fresh homemade pasta with flavors out of this world!

Truly an authentic french experience, with beautiful food, charming service, and a tasteful decor, all at an affordable price. Being a vegetarian I was happy to find that there was plenty of choice, and I chose the tagliatelle with spicy tomato and coconut sauce. The food was fresh, hot and delicious, it could not have been any better! we were supplied with english menus which was very helpful considering our French is limited.
