Yves Restaurant — Restaurant in Aix-en-Provence

A jewel of a restaurant in Aix-en-Provence, it was a happy new discovery for me and my friends who were in town for its Easter Festival.

Christophe, the owner, is also the chef and waiter in one, and despite this being a one-man show, service was impeccable from beginning to end and the food and drinks served absolutely top-notch, made with care, love and refinement (he trained and worked in many Michelin-starred restaurants throughout France before setting up his own place in Aix).

Passion for quality runs through this small establishment where you’re made to feel truly valued as customers. I cannot recommend this place enough and will be back when I’m next in Aix!

From the moment I entered the restaurant, Chef Christopher made me feel at home. His attention to detail was evident when he not only memorized my name but also made sure I was fully satisfied throughout my visit. This personal touch is a big part of why the reviews are so excellent!

The food was incredible, and the service was magnificent. The pricing is also very fair, offering great value for the quality provided. I disagree with some comments about the portion sizes being small. I found them to be well-thought-out, allowing you to experience a full range of flavors from the menu without overwhelming your palate.

Absolutely marvelous, and the best and most unique dining experience we’ve had in a long time. Christophe is a one-man show — he does everything, from greeting guests, to serving, to clearing tables, and most important of all, creating world class dishes cooked to perfection.
