Very disappointing. A midweek meal treat that was anything but.
Booked for a family of 4 for 7pm. The service was slow and condescending/rude at times from a couple of the waiters, especially when we did not want wine with our meal.....maybe the "humour" was lost in translation.
We waited ages for everything, the menus, to have our orders taken and to receive the meals. The waiters were not on the restaurant floor so it was very difficult to ask for anything additional or any questions.....we just kept being told "5 more minutes". I was really looking forward to an authentic Tartiflette, when it eventually arrived I had to ask for cutlery, "sure" they said, but after over 5 minutes nothing has appeared and neither had the waiters to ask again. I had to go upstairs to speak to the manager and in the end asked for the meal to be taken away as it was cold. My wife had a fish stew, but it was again disappointing, lacked flavour and the fish was dry/overcooked. Our boys had burgers and chips, which were ok, but took so long to arrive it was not hot, but they were hungry and ate it.
There were a few other families eating who's kids were falling asleep or getting grumpy at having to wait so long for everything.
To the restaurants credit, Raphael was a star, he was very genuine and could only apologise that sometimes things go wrong. He put his hands up and sorted the bill. It was still a lot of money for a very poor experience.
I wouldn't go back, nor would I...

50 shades of dinning.... with all the pain none of the pleasure.
If you enjoy being stuffed in a basement/dungeon with no windows, so much heat everyone is dripping in sweat. The noise in the over crouded and confined space so loud you can't hear the person next to you you may enjoy this.
Food was middle to poor and vastly overpriced
Arrived at 7.30 no food till nearly 8.30 we had the set menu raclette and meat fondue.
Meat was a single small plate of meats, sause was forgotten and once the meats were finished the sause was served...
The leftover raclette we were informed is recycled into the other cheese based dishes...
Wine was just about drinkable.
In the end after waiting nearly 2.5 hours we walked out kids and adults went without the pudding.
One of the worst restaurant experience i have had to endure. Over priced, poor environment...
Read moreThe food was actually quite nice (when it arrived) we had raclette (which you serve yourself one the table) and a hot stone with meat. We had two kids who had the children's menu which they seemed to like...
However... The kids food arrived a good half hour before the rest of the food. There seems an element of chance as to whether you have a pleasant, cool and relaxed meal with friendly wait staff or a hellish nightmare of overbearing noise and heat and an incomplete service. We booked for 7.30 and ended up up leaving at 10.00 without our pudding inorder to put the kids to bed and relieve the growing headache of the shouting in the room about us. In summery, we span the roulette wheel and came off severely...
