We stayed in Annecy for 3 nights, and by the second night we realized we couldn’t live without some Asian food. We didn’t feel like taking an Uber anywhere, so we searched online for Vietnamese food nearby. The closest spot to our hotel was Bánh Mì’s Place. It only had a few reviews, but we decided to give it a try. We arrived around 7:35pm, just before closing at 8pm, so the options were limited. We managed to order one beef bánh mì, one serving of spring rolls (4), one bún bò, a Saigon beer, and a sparkling water. The total came to €38. To our surprise, everything was quite good! Keep in mind this isn’t a fancy sit-down restaurant, it’s a takeaway spot but the food really hit the spot. It ended up being the cheapest (and one of the tastier) meals we had in Annecy. Of course, I can only review the dishes my husband and I tried, so I can’t vouch for the rest...
Read moreWe ordered a chicken bahn mi and a beef bowl vermicelli . The chicken bahn mi was very good, chicken was well marinated. Beef bowl was bland, the spring rolls it came with was very good, but the sauce it came with is just fish sauce and was too salty to pour over vermicelli.
When you order, watch out for the price. We were overcharged 5 euros and didn't realize till we were back...
