Ordered A Midi, the plat was ok, veal was cooked through, and the little cranberry reduce was delightful. But the potato mash in the bottom was a little heavy to my taste, perhaps more cranberry sauce to add some acidity for balance? Entre was some canned salmon cake with curry?? Didn’t quite get it... dessert was ok, but nothing special... Although it’s cheaper (€19 for E+P+D), I guess ordering the normal menu would be more worthwhile... the waiter and waitress were quite friendly in explaining the menu in English, and topped up the tap water for us. Best dining experience of our trip in Annecy - it was so nice to eat well and still be able to hear ourselves speak, which I can't say is true for every place in this area! This place was recommended by a friend who lives here and without his tip I'm not sure we would have found it - it is through a short passage and up a flight of stairs; it is NOT the same as the restaurant on the ground level. This is a hidden gem in a busy touristy street. As it’s on the second floor, you even don’t hear the noise from the street . The food is simple and delicious . I love everything , the tomato salad appetizer is so refreshing ; the egg mousse is just amazing appetizer too. On the sweet side, the roasted apricot is perfectly balanced between sweet and sour ; the coconut dome mousse is just a delight ! 38euros for 3-course diner , very fair price in a touristy area .
