I wanted to like this place. They just don’t seem to be able to manage things. It reminds me of one of those restaurant games on Roblox where the restaurant is just a mess when it comes to operations. There are two people in the back doing the wraps (but there seems to not be much order to how they’re doing things and they take forever to compile the ingredients in one wrap, which is ridiculous). The cashier cuts tomatoes in between taking orders (without washing her hands).
In any event, I was told when I ordered that the wait time would be around 15 minutes. After waiting 30 minutes I went in to ask about my order and the people making the sandwiches said they didn’t have it (they eventually found it buried between other orders for people that arrived after I did). I decided to leave at that point. They seemed offended that I wanted to leave rather than wait longer for them to make my wrap, which is odd. I would think they would be more apologetic. Unless they’re actually cooking food, which they are not (since it’s already prepared), it shouldn’t take so long to make a wrap. And rather than the cashier cutting tomatoes during her shift (in between handling people’s money), ideally she would do it before the restaurant opens. If they are too busy to manage people’s orders properly, they should stop...
Read moreWow that was amazing. Just grabbed dinner from ELA. Didn't fancy eating at a restaurant and wanted to take something back to the hotel to have on the balcony.
A friend who lives in Chamonix recommended it as he knew we liked Greek food.
I've been to Greece and travelled the islands, I've got Greek friends and have eaten with their families and been to Greek weddings..... but this will rival anything I had. The wife had the halloumi rice box which was very tasty, healthy and hit the spot. I had the large Halloumi wrap and the falafel side pot. I have NOT had better falafels anywhere!!! The wrap was so good, packed full of tasty treats, with a big choice of sauces.
This is a definite eat for something different when your in Chamonix. Will definitely be back again...
Read moreI recently visited Ela, a Mediterranean restaurant, and was blown away by the delicious food and excellent service. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was lively and inviting.
The menu had a great selection of traditional Mediterranean dishes, and everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. The sauces were creamy and flavorful, the wraps were loaded with juicy meat and vegetables, and the dessert was heavenly. 🤤
I highly recommend Ela for anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Mediterranean dining experience. The prices were also very reasonable and the portion sizes were generous. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu...
