I've been rafting in Costa Rica, France and the US in Colorado and New Mexico more times than I can count and this trip was without a doubt the most fun I've had. Thomas is a wonderful guide. He knows the river well, prepared us ahead of time for what we would do next and took the time to educate us about how the river works. This made everyone relaxed and able to enjoy the trip. The river itself was fantastic with so many rapids and falls and Thomas navigated us through them so well that we were laughing and smiling the whole way. Pascal! Pascal! We our a USA family of five, all adults. We love recreational rafting on our vacations. The Charmonix river tour was amazing with unbeatable views. Pascal is an exceptional person and guide. He took care of us every step of the way. We learned about the region and facts about the river. This is not a robotic tourist expedition. It was well planned, but still individualized. The rapids were fun with a good mix of challenging and relaxing areas. Trip included a fun drill of swimming in the river to safety. Pascal and his team were absolutely incredible. We had two adults and three kids (ages 13, 9, and 7) on the raft, and everyone had an amazing time. The kids had a blast from start to finish, and we all enjoyed the perfect mix of swimming, rapids, and learning.
