if you're into ski touring/skimo, trail running, or really any endurance sport involving mountains, this is the shop for you. i believe ravanel is the best sports shop i've visited anywhere in the world, in fact. the staff here, like thibault, paul, hugo, and everyone else i've interacted with, is second to none in their knowledge but also attention to detail. this is a shop where you can bring highly technical gear with specific needs, and are able to trust not only their opinion and work without question. that is super rare!

Louis made such an amazing job with my alpine boots. I had a pretty big-sized brand new mountaineering boots that are too big and Louis made his best to make them fit to my feet so they wouldn't dance inside the boots. He spent couple of days listening to my problems and adapting the work to my needs, achieving the main point of taking space to pull my feet forward the front part so I'd feel I have control while using front point on crampons and not having my heel bouncing in them. I had a ski boots complaint experience here. I visited them with the boots and I was informed that they needed to contact the manufacturer. They did, called me and asked me to bring the boots for repair, what I did some weeks later as I was all time out. I was treated in a very bad manner, asked how dare I come during the UTMB with the complaint. This was repeated several times while I was explaining that I am allowed to come with the complaint whenever the shop is opened.

Bottomline, it looks for me like a "buy now, pay immediately, expect nothing...
