Legaston — Restaurant in Bordeaux

We had an amazing meal at Legaston! We hadn’t been able to get a table at our hotel and didn’t want to go too far from there that evening. Having initially been slightly put off by the dated decor (and also a little bit from the current pics of the food on these reviews!), we had a wonderful welcome, excellent service and the most delicious food, from a fabulous short menu that catered for all tastes. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back, and like another reviewer said, this was the best meal we ate in Bordeaux. I only have 4 stars for atmosphere because we were the only people in there at the start but were later joined by 2 other French couples who were friendly despite our language barrier!
