Deliciosa Restaurant ( Tradittional Turque ) — Restaurant in Colmar-Ribeauvillé

Food is good. The server was very mean. We were so hungry that we came right from the station, even had our suitcases with us. My mother has kidney disease and has many diet restrictions, we asked him if there were any grilled veggies as we needed to make sure she would be able to eat something there. He said no- so we dropped it, I just ordered my food. Then he disappeared for a long time, at the time my mom was hungry and she had food with her that we had made so I said okay eat it- we even waited to see if the guy would come back so we could ask him for a plate but he didnt return until he had my food. So she was eating- discreetly, he then started yelling at us infront of everyone and was straight up mean. Okay so I know that its not ideal to eat food from home outside, but NOTHING a customer does would warrant a response like that from staff if they ever want the business again. You cannot be that aggressive and mean to a paying customer. He then also added "service fees" for my mom as she used a small plate at the restaurant as he would have to "clean up"- whereas we left things very clean. So it was just not an experience I would ever repeat again. Especially if you are coming from somewhere out of town and are exhausted- you wont find good...

We absolutely loved our experience at this restaurant! We were greeted with friendly service and big smiles. Everyone was helpful and patient as we chose our meals. The service was excellent. The flat bread and appetizer were tasty. My husband and I both got the chicken kebab meal with salad. I got the Turkish rice and he got the French fries. The chicken was cooked perfectly and was delicious! So were the fries, rice and salad. The prices were so reasonable. The portions were generous. The place is not bad, but does not match it's current high rating. The food is okay, a bit basic, but taste and quality is relatively good for the price.

The atmosphere inside is ment for cheap and fast dinner, not fancy at all. Most other visitors were from Turkish diaspora when I was there, I felt a bit like an alien. The waiter forgot to bring water, even though I asked for it twice (well, it happens. I could have asked one more time, but I didn't). I think you can have the same or better experience and food in some taco/kebab places for less money.
