My husband and I were in Dijon for a short break, a city known for lovely restaurants. But what a disappointment with this one! We went to Café de l' Industrie for lunch around 13.30 and ordered the lunch menu, charcuteríe as a starter , steak with french fries and creme brulé. My husband ordered steak tartar , which was served with french fries , the tartar didn't seem too fresh, the tartar had strings of fat and " nerv", impossible to chew and swallow. My steak was maxim of 50g, terrible cut, dry, chewy, too well done , when i had asked to have medium doneband freezing cold. It seemed that was the plate with a leftover from someone. The fries were burnt, dry and old . I asked the waiter that the mini steak was too well done and cold, he quickly apologised and took it back. The steak was changed for a less terrible one but still not good. The fries were the same old hard sticks. I went to toilet, there was no toilet paper and the floor was greasy and slippery. There were 3 people working there , not counting the chef, us and another table , who were drinking coffee. They seemed that were just waiting to finish their turns and go . The lunch costed 41€ and we left so frustrated, the 41€ worst spent in a ling while. I i should have sent it back and left the restaurant and gone to one of so many places available around town. I've got a photo from the 2nd plate, shame i didn't take one of the...

With deep sadness I have to write a bitter negative comment on what has been for years my favorite afterwork place. The waitress whom I have known for years failed to apologise after she called us (my company who had made a booking for 10 persons) something very rude. I was the first to arrive (without even knowing the exact time of the booking) among a group of colleagues after a hard day's work. She was furious and insulted us in French. She threw our glasses on the bar giving us her back. Just because we were half an hour late! The bar was half empty which means she had not turned any client down because of the delay. But even if she had given our table to others we would have understood. But insulting us and "serving" the drinks with such an unpolite attitude is simply unacceptable. I explained as we were leaving that she had been unfair, to say the least, treating me like this when I was the first to arrive and when I was not responsible for the booking. She failed to...

This was one of the few places that were open a bit later than the typical lunch time. The food was descent. By the time we arrived they had run out of all the lunch offerings like steaks and we had to choose from a small set of options. The steak tartare was tasty but it tasted like salad and I could not taste any meat there because the meat was minced too finely and there was too much mayo inside. The carpaccio was accompanied by hard cheese and sundried tomatoes and the meat was also barely distinguishable. The meat was sliced very well in thin pieces though. The dishes came with sides (fries and salad) and those were good. There was a staff member who spoke French and the staff was...

Went for lunch. First + main dish for a fair price. Food ia good, well prepared. Service is great, attentive but not intrusive, as it should be. Good choice of wines you can ask by volume. Interesting options on the menu beyond the lunch menu if one wants to go fancier.
